It would make coordinating meetings across locations a bit harder, but computers could deal with it.

We know that people do not wake up with sunrise in summertime (they sleep in), but they do tend to drift later in wintertime (partly due to electric lighting). So it’s kind of half and half — the time of noon is especially important if you’re trying to pick a number year-round, but the time of sunrise is important in the winter.
